HOBBIES

I want you to get to know me, and part of that is knowing what I am passionate about and interested in. Below you will find a passion project of mine, hobbies, and my current interests!

JULI'S JUICE

In mid-March, I started a mocktail Instagram account (@juli.juice) to post recipes and review non-alcoholic drinks I have tried from restaurants. I have really enjoyed making content for this account and using my creative side. Since starting this page, I have become a brand ambassador for a non-alcoholic spirit alternative called Ritual Zero Proof, and I have another brand partnership in the works. I have a combined total of over 6,000 views on the reels I have made, and I have also been reposted by many restaurants and beverage companies. My goal is to continue growing this page and be able to one day work with bigger brand names. To see content examples, click here

I'VE BEEN LOVING READING BOOKS

I've never really been one to read books for fun, but recently a close friend of mine opened my eyes and helped me see that I was just reading the wrong ones (LOL). Reading is now one of my favorite past times!  I've read 5 books since March. A few of my favorites have been Verity, by Colleen Hover, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and Forever Interrupted, also by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Next up on my list is Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.

EXERCISE

In Austin, I am a member of Trufusion Fitness. I have been going here for almost two years now, and it is my favorite part of the day! I have tried just about every class available from Hot Barre and Hot Pilates, to BootCamp and HIIT. The combination of the lights (see picture beside) and the great music always make it a party. My favorite class is Barre because it does not require a lot of energy and it is very effective! A goal of mine is to one day become a certified Barre teacher on the side.

TRAVEL

Traveling is one of my absolute favorite things to do. I love being able to explore new places and cultures.  Whether it is somewhere in the U.S. or a foreign country, I am always down for an adventure. Last summer I saved up money to travel around Europe for about a month with my friends from college. It was one of the best experiences of my life. I had never been to Europe, and it definitely did not disappoint. We went to Italy (Milan + Florence), Croatia (Dubrovnik, Hvar, + Split), and England (London). The next place I'd like to visit is Ireland.
